As she looked down into the water,
she wondered...would she ever be able to be the reflection that she saw, deep in her heart? ~me My second photo manipulation!! As proud as I was of my first one, I think that this one...does look a bit better. I'll be honest, I am still very very new to this whole area of PhotoShop and of graphic design, but practice makes perfect! If you are going to write a rude comment, please don't bother. I know my work isn't top-notch, but that's alright, its better than now than when I started! Critique is appreciated, just please be polite. ----------------------------------- I would like to dedicate this image to  who is one of my favorite artists on here, and who's images I find inspiring and breath-taking. No seriously -- her artwork is amazing! She's also been such a wonderful source of support for me and my artwork, and I can never thank her enough. I consider her a very dear friend here on DA, and have a great deal of respect and love for her. There are only so many ways to say "thank you" for being a great friend, and I feel that dedicating this to her is really the best way for me to show it. (Words kind of fail me a lot lol)   ----------------------------------- Stock used: Model --->  [link]Wings --->  [link]Hair wreath --->  [link]Background --->  [link]----------------------------------- Time: 3+ hours Layers: Lots. (It looks like its not, but really there are upwards of about 20 layers on here) Program: PhotoShop CS2 Edit: added some more shadowing to the image and tried to fix the wings a little, make their contrast a little more obvious, and pulled them closer to her body. I also brightened up the background a little, and fixed how the hair wreath is positioned on her head and the shadowing around it -- semi-minor changes. |

But to make it even better, if you look at the wings, they are at a different angle than the girl. If you fix that and the lighting of the wings and her hair wreath, I think it would look a lot awesome-er!

The wings also look much better, but I think you can still push it a bit to be even more believable.
